An extremely strange observation about cab drivers in Shijazhuang… they’re enclosed in metallic bars. I’m told this is for safety, but no one is quite sure whose safety this refers to. To me sitting in the back of these cabs is what I think sitting handcuffed in a cop’s car is going to feel like. With the long laundry list of things that one can be arrested for in China, it may only be a matter of time before I’m in a position to make a distinct comparison from experience. I believe blogging is one such offense too.
|No feeding of the drivers!!|
And does one of these signs in Chinese in the back seat say ‘Please do not feed the drivers’ ? :)
